Three years at just about this time, Matthew Man came into our lives! Can't believe it has been three years now. He is such a happy child. He loves to play trains with Robert and Annalese. I made a Thomas cake just now for his birthday cake. He is going to love it!
Matthew is speaking so well and continues to add to his vocabulary. He talks in completes sentences and is very expressive. He loves to run. And his run the the absolute most adorable thing!
He loves Thomas the Train. Every afternoon, mom and Matthew watch Thomas on PBS. He loves to read all of the Thomas books we have, too.
Matthew is a reader too. Right now he loves some of the Winnie the Pooh books that we have.
Matthew celebrated his birthday at school today. He took cookies that were shaped like threes and lots of books, plus a picture when he was three months old!
Love having with me!
Happy birthday Little Man!

Merry Christmas!
It has been a terrific week so far. Doing my best to create some traditions and memories for the kids.
On Monday, I took the kids to see Santa and then for breakfast. That tradition started last year. On the first day of vacation, I take the kids to breakfast.
Tuesday was Christmas Eve. Robert had to go into the office, but he ended up taking the boys and Roxy! Yeah. That gave Annalese and I a chance to prepare some of the food for our Christmas meals. We started with our sweet rolls. Then we made clam sauce, and our chocolate cake. We prepared the green beans and set the table.
At 2:00 our Christmas cards finally came so they were sent a bit late this year.
Off to our Christmas Eve service. Annalese was a sheep for the Christmas story. So very cute!
Wednesday, Christmas Morning. Santa came! Kids had a great time opening presents. Then they spent the rest of the day playing with everything. I made it to the gym in the afternoon then came home and prepared Christmas dinner. The ham was so good. It all worked out.
To end the night, Matthew went to bed a little early. He was so tired. And the rest of us played Monopoly! The kids were a riot to play with. They love the game.

All I want for Christmas is My One Front Tooth!
Can't think of a better time to lose a tooth than two days before Christmas. The Tooth Fairy comes tonight, and Santa comes tomorrow!

10 Year Anniversary
Ten years ago at this time, we were pronounced husband and wife. And what a journey it has been. Ten years seems like such a long time, but it has gone so quickly. So much has happened. Can't wait to see what the next ten holds!

First Swim Meet
Annalese and Robert both completed in their first swim meet this evening. And wow were they fantastic. Both did so well! Such a proud mother!
Way to go you two. Keep working hard.

Matthew is 28 months
Little Matthew Man had a little birthday today. He is growing up so much. His big accomplishment though was swimming in the big pool. He was even going under the water! So cute. Have a video of it on my phone.
Updates.
Well he like the phrase "get out of town."
His favorite book is Red Truck.
We say he is on a See Food Diet because no matter what he sees, he wants to have some of that food.
His vocabulary is growing every day and he talks in complete sentences.
He hates to get his hair cut.
He loves playing with Annalese.
He doesn't like to have anyone else help him except Mom.
Such an adorable kid! Love you little guy.
