Merry Christmas!

It  has been a terrific week so far.  Doing my best to create some traditions and memories for the kids.

On Monday, I  took the kids to see Santa and then for breakfast.  That tradition started last year.  On the first day of vacation, I take the kids to breakfast.

Tuesday was Christmas Eve.  Robert had to go into the office,  but he ended up taking the boys and Roxy!  Yeah.  That gave Annalese and I a chance to prepare some of the food for our Christmas meals.  We started with our sweet rolls.  Then we made clam sauce, and our chocolate cake.  We prepared the  green beans and set the table.

At 2:00 our Christmas cards finally came so  they were sent a bit late this year.

Off to our Christmas Eve service.  Annalese was a sheep for the Christmas story. So very cute!

Wednesday, Christmas Morning.  Santa came!  Kids had a great time opening presents.  Then they spent the rest of the day playing with everything.  I made it to the gym in the afternoon then came home and prepared Christmas dinner.  The ham was so good.  It all worked out.

To end the night, Matthew went to bed a little early.  He was so tired.  And the rest of us played Monopoly!  The kids were a riot to play with.  They love the game.
